Free Income Tax Calculator for FY 2025-26 (New Regime)
FileMagic Pro's Income Tax Calculator helps you quickly estimate your tax liability under India's New Tax Regime for FY 2025-26 (AY 2026-27). Enter your annual income, indicate if you're salaried, and instantly see your taxable income, slab-wise tax breakup, applicable cess, and final tax payable.
How Is Tax Calculated Under the New Regime?
Tax is calculated progressively across income slabs — each portion of your income is taxed at the rate for that slab, not your entire income at the highest applicable rate. A Section 87A rebate then makes the final tax zero for taxable income up to ₹12 lakh, and a 4% health and education cess is added on top of the computed tax.
